Moscow Cathedral Mosque is the main mosque of Moscow, Russia. It is located on Olimpiysky Avenue, close to the Olympic Stadium in the centre of the city. The original structure was built in 1904 according to the design of the architect Nikolay Zhukov and has undergone some reconstructions since then. A new mosque has been built at the site of the former one. It was officially inaugurated on 23 September 2015. Presidents Vladimir Putin of Russia, Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey and Mahmoud Abbas of the Palestinian Territories together with local Muslim leaders participated in the inauguration ceremony of this mosque.
Akhmad Kadyrov Mosque is located in Grozny, the capital of Chechnya. It is one of the largest mosques in Russia and is officially known as “The Heart of Chechnya”, Completed October 16, 2008.

Aymani Kadyrov Mosque

 Chechen President, Ramzan Kadyrov inaugurate a mosque named after his mother Haja Aymani Kadyrova. Habib Ali was accompanied by Sbaykh Usama al-Azhari. Aymani Kadyrova was the wife of the first Chechen president Akhmad Kadyrov.

Makhachkala Grand Mosque,

The Grand Mosque in Makhachkala (Yusuf Bei Cami) is the main mosque of the Republic of Dagestan. It is supposed to have been patterned after the Sultan Ahmed Mosque in Istanbul. The building can accommodate up to 17,000 worshipers. Its construction was financed by Turkey. The mosque was completed and consecrated in 1998.

Saint Petersburg Mosque

when opened in 1913, was the largest mosque in Europe outside Turkey, The mosque is situated in downtown St Petersburg. It can accommodate up to five thousand worshippers. The founding stone was laid in 1910 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the reign of Abdul Ahat Khan in Bukhara. Its construction was completed by 1921.

Mukhtarov Mosque (Sunnitskaya) (Vladikavkaz, Russia),

The Sunni Mosque or the Mukhtarov Mosque is a historic mosque on the left bank of the Terek River in Vladikavkaz. The mosque owes its name to the Azerbaijani millionaire Murtuza Mukhtarov who financed its construction in 1900-1908. Established 1908 The mosque has been protected as a historic landmark since 1934. In 1996, it was badly damaged by an explosion and later restored.

QOLSHARIF MOSQUE (MASJID QOLSHARIF),

Kazan Kremlin – at the time of its construction one of the largest mosques in Russia, and in Europe outside of Istanbul. the mosque was built in the Kazan Kremlin in the 16th century. It was named after Qolsärif.
